This is one of the pieces from the Gordon's collection that Dawn did on porcelain and steel about 40 years ago. Neat to see how these have held up.

As mom tells it there were about 30 of her paintings that underwent this process. The rest were destroyed by a hurricane that flooded the warehouse where they were being stored.

The Gordons told me recently about some of mom's artwork but they still have in their home. Here are a few of her original canvas pieces from which the ceramic and steel versions were made.

She said she did about 200 pieces back in Florida. It makes me wonder what has become of all of these things.
